If a woman is going home with you on the first night, there's only one reason: sex.

There is more than likely (with few rare exceptions) no true personal connection - an essential part of a 'relationship'. Thus, the only very thin bridge between the two protagonists at this time is based on fantasy fueled expectactions of just plain sex. No warmth, maybe some laughter, some fun, some preconceived ideas of what stories will be stored in the minds of the participants.

Does that sound like a close, intimate encounter where the purpose is to peel the layers of each other's souls and discover your affinities?

While both may be fun, one means that the other person is ready to get closer to you than they already are, a realm where the physical aspect has been bypassed by the attraction fostered in familiarity and common likes and dislikes, laughing at the same jokes, enjoying the same music, sharing food, and feeling like the air is much better when the two can breathe together...

That explains why so many women are so afraid to take their clothes off - if not in
front of someone who surely adores them...
