Re: Hair Mineral Test Results... Help Me Out?
Just wondering how the mineral balancing is going for you. I just started the same protocol at the end of May. These doctors seem to be the only ones I have ever come across who look at the whole picture from every possible angle. The other reason I chose to do this is because they are not promoting/selling a single product of some sorts, which kills all credibility in my opinion when I see a health expert doing so.
My major concern is copper overload, followed by elevated mercury / aluminum / nickel (yes, nickel...). I've been following the diet super closely, taking the crapload of supplements suggested, and built an infrared sauna as per Dr. Wilson's instructions. Cost $200 in parts and works great, now let's just hope it is doing something more than making me sweat like a pig and making my friends think that I've lost my mind.
I'll be getting my 2nd hair test done in late August. I'm excited, because I have "hypogonadism," which is lowered testosterone. I briefly went on the standard protocol, which involves lots of shots and pain, and kept asking myself "how the hell do I cure this?" The whole mineral balancing explained in fine detail how hormone levels can be screwed up due to copper imbalance, which causes zinc imbalance, which lowers testosterone. Like I said.... the complete picture, and that's why I'm doing this.
