Hello all! I'm a female, 21-years-old, and have decided to be a vegetarian again. I've done it before but was pretty casual about it and mostly doing it for health reasons and to detox. This time, I'm serious and hope that I can acheive a lifetime diet thats cruelty free. For starters, I'm hypothyroid which I'm treating with Levothroid, which is a pill I must take daily to regulate my hormone levels. My doctor recommends that I limit my soy intake, as it may be bad for my thyroid. The problem is, I'm trying to eliminate dairy from my diet. Are there any vitamins or supplements that you recommend me taking, or even foods that will help boost calcium and other nutrients that I'll be missing? I'm also eliminating eggs. Any additional advice would be helpful. thanks in advance!
