Is this my imagination or do I smell pesticides after Hurricane Dolly.

I live in Sugar Land, TX (outside of Houston). For the past week I've noticed much more spraying overhead. In the past it was usually a few long trails side by side. But starting about 5 days ago it looked like checker boards constantly. I've watched the chemtrails for years but this was actually overkill! I was afraid to go outdoors or let the dogs out. My daughter was in South Padre on Tuesday, a day before the hurricane hit and she called to tell me the spraying was really heavy down there, too. She left that day before the rush crush. I saw pictures in the paper that the traffic on the causeway was at a stand still. People never learn and wait till the last minute and then whine that they can't get out, BUT that's another story. Anyway, it's been raining all day here and the weatherman didn't predict this much rain so far north. So I got outside this afternoon and it smells like RAID. I would guess this is from the spraying. What actually does the rain do? Does it make the chemicals more potent that are already on the ground or is the humidity making it rise so we breathe poisons in? And should I eat any vegetables that are in my garden?

Thanks
