Re: pressure on bladder

Thanks for this note exchange. It feels sort of a relief to know I am not going insane and I am not the only one.

I am 45 years old and I suffer from the same symptoms all of you have stated earlier that is pressure on bladder with frequency with the addition of associated cyclic pain that starts on the 7th day of my cycle, reaches its peak at ovulation and extends to teh 20th day of my cycle. there are times after where I feel my bladder is back to normal and so is my life.
I have done all required tests and all came negative including a cyctoscopy, uterine and ovary scans. the doctors seem to be puzzled as well and I am taking co-dydramol (paracetamol and codeine) as pain killers. Ibuprofen seem to aggrevate my symptoms and irritates my bladder.
I think that it is part of getting ready to menopause and a drop in the progesterone levels leaving abundance in estrogen causing all unexplained symptoms. Iam considering taking natural progesterone to balance it.
I have reduced my cafeine intake but no difference. I eat very healthfully and take suppelements. rece tly, I started pumpkin seed oil which seem to have great effect on the elasticity of the bladder and usually prescribed for prostate problems.
