pressure on bladder
Hi,- I am a 45yr. old female, somewhat overweight (not to bad), and I've been noticing (so are a lot of my girlfriends who are basically the same age) that about 10 days before my period, I seem to get a lot of pressure on the bladder, as if I constantly have to urinate. That used to go away after my period was over. But latley, it seems to be like that a lot.(as if it's staying that way) This is driving me crazy!!! I can't sleep because I feel like I have a very full bladder, I feel it when I'm driving, walking etc.... I figured it might be a bladder infection, which I did have about a year and a half ago, no big deal, it just went away. So, I have picked up on dring Cranberry juice again, but to no avail this time. My mother isn't helping any, she's telling me I probably have a tumor or cyst the size of a golf ball laying on my bladder!! But, when I lay down on my bed, I can press hard all over my abdomen, and no pain, or no lumps (that I can feel, at least). I do know that pre-menopausal women get a lot of different problems such as this, so hopefully that's all it is. If anyone out there can give me some help as to how to relieve this pressure, I sure would be grateful!!!!! Thank you. Veronica
