San2006, you know I was thinking that full inversion would help me with my scoliosis too, and so I started to do that. It didn't hurt my ankles or anything. I've really gotten used to the boots, so that's good.
But then I read on Dr. Sutter's forum that inversion past a certain degree can be dangerous and cause slipped discs and tears. I even asked him about inversion myself. He said you shouldn't go past 45 degrees. I don't know. There is so much controversy out there on everything. It makes things hard. He is a chiropractor and seems to be an honest one, not trying to mislead people for any reason.
I'll just keep doing research on this.
In the mean time, I am working on getting in the habit of doing a stretch program for my back and neck. I think that will help a lot.
Thanks for your recommendations, and that post!
