Re: Black Salve - Internally Safe?

No. Black salve made with zinc chloride is not safe to take internally. But bloodroot is. It is not for sissies, however. If you are toxic, it will make you extremely nauseous, and you will feel exhausted as the herb cleans the toxins out of your system. If you take a lot of it you will get diahrrea and projectile vomit. Because it is an emetic, they say it is impossible to overdose on it. You will need to drink plenty of water if you decide to take it. And do things to strengthen your immune system so the disease cannot come back. If you are killing parasites that lay eggs with it, you will have to take a break periodically, and let the eggs hatch out. Because of this, your return to health will be a two steps forward, one step backwards process as you slowly increase the dose to tolerance over and over until all your symptoms have been alleviated. Then stay on it another thirty days and do routine maintenance regularly for the rest of your life to clean out your system. If you proceed slowly and methodically, and rotate the bloodroot with other herbs, you will feel better and better. This is my humble opinion, based on my personal experience. YMMV.
