Is this worm?
Recently, I've been under treatment for high eosinophilia (28-36%), all other blood count are within range. Also, I been suffering from abdominal pains at various locations. Plus nauseous feelings whenever I take in food.
I've taken Mebendazole & Metronidazole but neither improve the situation.
My doc ran a few more blood tests and found out my Immunogloguline E (IGE) was high and thus ran some allegry test for me. The nurse screw up my stool test and I have to wait another 3 weeks for the results.
In the mean while, my doc gave me albendazole (400mg single dose) to try. It made me feel much better but only lasted for a day.
I'm tempted to get additional albendazole dose for the relieve, but I'm not sure if worms is really my case. Too painful and uncomfortable to think straight. Would like to seek some professional advice here.
Thanks in advance.
