My two week fasting average is 98. To get a 98 average before beginning the ML drinks (plus better fruits and veggie) I would have to be pretty strict in what I ate all the time. My last A1c was a 5.4% but that was a while ago. A few months ago I was being very careful about what I ate as far as carbs go. With the ML drink I was seeing 70s and 80s in my fasting BS numbers.
Lately my wife and I have been making an effort to get the best vegetables and fruits we can find. Luckily we live in an area that has a lot of farmer's markets with a lot of locally grown fruits and veggies. Quite a bunch of different varieties available, too. I had posted some time back that just taking the "pinch" of epsom salts with each meal had helped my average blood sugar (BS) level by 10 points, my testimonial is in with all the others. I take the drink 2-3 times a day. It has helped me to be much more consistant with my blood sugar. The drink has allowed me to indulge again by eating fruit, rice, bread, pasta or potatoes occasionally without huge spikes in my BS. The key has been moderation, eating better quality and the ML drink.
