Hi,
I'm on Nystatin and have been having quite a herx. Prior to being on it I was treated for Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and Lyme with lots of Antibiotics . I didn't seem to have any food sensitivities and I had no stomach problems. Since being on Nystatin I've gone on an anti-candida diet because if I eat anything other than foods on it I get sharp pains. The pains feel similar to the sudden herx I get when I take Candigone herbal supplements. I just tried Stevia for the first time, with water and a little lemon juice. I immediately got a strong reaction. I don't know if it was a herx or a bad reaction as if to a yeast-containing food. I know Stevia has anti-candida properties but is it enough to cause such a strong reaction? It's dizziness, neuro symptoms and a little sharp pain in the foot. (I read Stevia has caused neuro symptoms but I don't know if that was in a study where they fed rats 6 lbs. of it a day or what). It's an unpleasant reaction that gets worse when I take a sip of the Stevia lemon water. Anyone else herx or react from Stevia?
