Re: Day 9

Yes, Sacristia, you are right. We want to eat when we are surprised, angry, lonely, sad, happy, tired, etc. etc. I was doing my first fast a few days ago, and had to break it not out of hunger nor bad physical symptoms. I did it just because an strong emotion that took my by surprise.

I felt so good after those 3 days without eating that I want to start fasting again on Sunday. This time I am preparing my body with fruits and vegetables-not that I felt bad during the fast- I heard is the best thing to do to minimize bad side effects during it.

The good thing I am doing is making myself a list of the different strong emotions that may come my way ...to make me end my fast. They will not surprise me this time.

Congratulations for keeping the good work up. You have been an example to me.
