Ticks can carry bacteria containing plasmids [ besides B. Burgdorferi and mycoplasma].
These plasmids can cause chronic symptoms. I surmise that most of the human population are now being exposed to man made plasmids and it is up to a combination of host immunity, and type of plasmid and vector involved that determines individual pathogenicity. Shroom
