I am also having problems with bone density. I take Fosamax Weekly. It is no trouble at all and I a tolerating it well. I also walk for an hour 5 days a week. I have had two bone densities since the start of fosamax and I have stopped losing bone mass, in fact, I have had a slight increase in bone density in my hip and back. My Dr. is pleased and considers this a major improvement. He says that simply maintaining is considered great. I understand that it is very difficult to rebuild the bone once it is lost, however it can be done with foods high in calcium and lots & lots of weight bearing exercise. Do you take a calcium supplement?
