PTree- thanks for your prompt response. Yes, I believe it is a dairy intolerance because the Lactaid products help me so much; greatly reducing and eliminating immediate gas, bloating, and diarhea.

I'm going to do some further research on these particular digestive enzymes. It appears, on the website, that there are two different products... the therapist is suggesting I take the zymeMAX, which includes "plant based enzymes, hydrocloric acid, probyotics, L-Glutamine & N-acetyl-glucosamine to support the intestinal lining". The website indicates that this is for individuals who are not digesting their food well, and who produce low stomach acid. There is also the digestMAX which appears to be a more general product that includes plant based enzymes probiotics and amino acids, but without the hydrocloric acid. How do I know if I produce low stomach acid? How do I choose which one would be best?
