Confused? Someone w/experience help?
Okay, so back when I used to eat everything, my only yeast symptoms were mild and I didn't notice them till after I put two and two together as "Ohhhh, that's why I get post nasal drip when I eat ________" etc. Then, after 3 rounds of
Antibiotics , other symptoms popped up and I began the diet, the anti fungals, etc. Now here's what confuses me--after 8 months on the diet, foods I used to eat w/out much of a problem seem to cause more of a problem than they used to. For example, I used to eat sweet potatoes all the time and never noticed any problems associated with them . I "tested" one the other day and had a major reaction. I ate the occasional tomato 3 or 4 months ago, but now when I have one, I have minor reactions. Am I going backwards? It's so confusing! Most of these reactions are sinus related--oddly enough, my more severe and painful bladder reactions are gone (thank god). But the sinus keep cropping up. I'm very good w/my diet--have been very strict and haven't cheated save to try to add new foods back in (unsuccesfully). The foods I've tried to add back in aren't even total NO-NO's, they're the ones everyone says are controversial, like sweet potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, or brown rice. Arggghhhh...I'm so frustrated!
