Re: Conspiracy?
Yeah, we had a friend over yesterday, we had just rebuilt his rifle, and we tried to talk to him about WORMS. He and his wife just bred their female champion dog, a fairly large breed, and they have five pretty large dogs in the house with them, two full growm, and three half grown pups. Not a big house, either. The vet treated the dogs for round worms, but even though these people sleep with their dogs, they haven't got a clue that they should de-worm themselves. Mrs. Dog person has a very distended abdomen, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and depression. She had such bad heart palpatations she wound up in the hospital and got told it was an electrolyte imbalance.
They were just on the way out to go eat sushi for thier aniversary.
Stupid does cover a lot of ground, doesn't it. We've talked to both of them, but it's just plain falling on deaf ears. I guess when they get a worm in their poop, they might wake up.
Like I said, US health care is a for profit system, it's consurmer driven. Why are people this dumb? That's another question altogether, I can't figure out why I was so dumb for so long. Then you get the shoe on the other foot, and you haul a worm into an MD and tell him it came out of you, and get told it's actually food particles.
Cancer is politically correct, worms are not. I don't know when Americans got to be such big shots they were so important that they couldn't get worms. I know I was there. Unfortuantly the worms don't give a rip, do they, they just keep on doing their thing. And we keep on being sick.
It's frustrating, to say the least.
