Re: calcium/magnesium

Way too much magnesium. Proper ratio is around 5:1 Ca/Mg, requiring even more Ca in periods of illness/stress. At best the supp is going right through you(specially if lacking stomach acid); at worst, you're losing calcium to offset excessive magnesium absorption. Stomach acid is required to ionize all food minerals. Lactate/citrate forms are easy to absorb even with limited amount of stomach acid. Vitamin D is needed to keep calcium in solution to penetrate cells. When I need, I like Energetix Phyto Cal/Mag with right ratio. Calcium lactate from Standard process also contains 5:1 ratio. These are sold through practitioners only but can be found online with a bit of digging.
