would you mind posting a reference to a primary source for that? I haven't seen it.

Tiny trace amounts, possibly (look up the definition of 'half-life'). But trace amounts won't have negative effects (your adrenal glands make glucocorticoids like cortisol naturally all the time. Having trace amounts of a synthetic version isn't going to make a difference. Large doses of synthetic glucocorticoids can have negative effects because of the high dosage. Glucocorticoid withdrawal can have negative effects because taking them for a long time can lead to dependence and adrenal insufficiency. Trace amounts in the body after a few months? Where's the harm?
