After more than 1.5 years of paying tons of money to all sorts of doctors to try to figure out what went wrong with me (took almost 1 year before I found this website, which saved my life and had the mirena removed immediately and finally started healing)...recently my naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist have determined that it is my gall bladder that seems to be failing (perhaps not necessarily with stones but weakness, many stones are too small to be seen on ultrasound) And in fact all the pain points I have felt (most notably severe pain between the shoulder blades which would flare up most when I had insomnia which was pretty much every night) is a distinct gall bladder point (along with leg pain, elbow, abdominal, lower back which are all the spots women have complained about on mirena). It makes complete sense that basically the mirena is a toxin and our gall bladders try to weed out the toxin or fails or is injured...So many of the mirena side effects point to gall bladder, and if the gall bladder is unable to clear a toxin, the nervous system is then affected and kidney and heart...as well as the gall bladder/liver affect so much how we process hormones (which then affects adrenal gland and thyroid etc.)

We are being poisoned. And perhaps that is why it can affect people at different stages upon insertion based on how healthy our gall bladders are (which by the way become weakened by pregnancy and birth control). It is crazy!

There are ways to cleanse the gall bladder without removal. Read about them on line and see a naturopathic doctor. Especially since it sounds like the toxins are beyond the gall bladder into the kidney...there are lots of issues when the gall bladder is removed.
