Re: magnesium chloride, cortisol

According to Dr Shealy, magnesium oil raises dhea levels.  DHEA is precursor to cortisol and 100 or so other hormones.  Dr Carolyn Dean, on the other hand, says magnesium oil raises dhea levels in the skin.

The EPA fraction of fish oil helps with withdrawal from anti-depressants.  The two on the market (there may be more now) are Omega Joy (Genuine Health) and Omega Mood (Quest).

Niacin also helps anxiety a great deal and is used for alcoholism.  The flush feeling is soothing and lasts about 30min.

7 Keto (Dhea metabolite) does not convert to sex hormones, but supports the adrenal glands.
