Re: Iodine and scars

I sliced part of my finger and the high part of my palm (near the fingers) with a knife in the kitchen, the palm part was pretty deep. I packed cayenne in it to stop the bleeding (I was actually rather thrilled, it was my first opportunity to use cayenne on bleeding) and it worked great.
The next day, once a good scab was in place, I put Lugol's on it, and I did that a few other times. The scabs healed really quickly and now I can't see the scars. I can't really compare that to anything, though, as I am rarely injured, and don't tend to scar.
