Re: Pull dead wisdom tooth, or not ???

Your post is confusing to me because it's not easy for a tooth to become "dead". What does dead mean: pulp/nerves dead? I thought that alot of trauma would have to happen to a tooth for this to happen. I had a tooth (#4) that I believe became "dead" pulp/nerves infected and wasted thru exposure (crown came off and I didn't do anything about it for a year). This tooth had no apparent problem after repair/new crown; however, it had a subtle bad effect on my entire being, and I could feel something was wrong. Despite no apparent medical problem, after years, I told the dentist to yank it. The second it was out of my head, I became a new person. (BTW, I had all wisdom teeth pulled due to severe impaction around age 30)
