I take them to keep me regular. Also, reading what they do sold me on them. They replace good minerals you lose by sweating. Being stopped up has been a problem all my life. Before starting Lifeforce, I had been on Fiber 35 for about a year, and even with 35 grams of fiber, I have to watch it. I got scared off laxatives when I was in my early 20s, so I've tried to treat it naturally since then by eating fiber and drinking water. My favorite remedy is prune juice, and now that I'm in Week 9, I guess I can have the unsweetened kind again. I put 40 drops in a little bit of water, chug it down followed by cold water and then I eat a grape or bite of food. They are horrible-tasting, but I'm to the point that I think I could drink gasoline if I would lose weight, LOL. (J/K Dr. Jeff!) The "curse" is several years behind me now, so I hadn't thought about it. I'd think, if you use a tampon, that the 30 minutes would be okay. Other than weight loss and no headaches, I think the only results I've seen is that I just feel better overall. Before, I was slightly depressed all the time and all I wanted to do was watch TV or read. I used to really like crafts--my house is full of things I've made, but for a couple of years, the thought of doing anything was just too tiring.
