Boy! What you said about them possibly settling in just under the skin makes alot of sense to me. I have noticed that when I'm taking a bath all of a sudden I can feel these bumps while washing. Upon, closer examination these bumps turned out to be the little rice parasites. I wasn't sure where they were coming from and now I know they must have been settled in just under the skin.

Thanks so much for taking your time to exclaim this situation. It certainly makes me feel better! Also, don't worry about grossing me out. I was concerned that I might gross others out with this question to begin with and I almost didn't ask it. However, now I'm glad that I did ask it, because someone else might need to know the answer in the future.
