I just wanted to reply to your post and let you know you're not alone.

I've had a metallic taste in my mouth for almost 3 weeks too. I think I might have disturbed the mercury in my system by supplimenting with a whey protein powder that has lots of amino acids in it. I grind my teeth quite a bit at night too so that could be a problem too.

I got really sick over the weekend, my glands swelled to ping pong ball size and I broke out in bumps all over before I realized something was really, really wrong and looked it up.

I'm convinced. I'm going to be evaluated tomorrow to have all of my Amalgams removed. I've got eight teeth covered in huge metal fillings. I'm sure it'll be less than fun but I'm pretty sure it won't be worse than this.

Good luck with your research. I'd just keep reading these boards as much as you can. There's an amazing wealth of information here.
