It is quite possible that after witnessing an experience, even if it is on TV, that it may have triggered an anxiety reaction within you that keeps on haunting you. The descr*iption of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is not bad, as this is usually triggered by a trauma in the past. The resulting anxiety and disturbance may be caused by an underlying metabolic disorder pouring stress hormones into your system despite the effluxion of time. Most people recover but if you don't, you need to look at the physical factors that keeps on pouring stress hormones in you.
