Thanks for your reply. However, I am not interested in taking anything to alleviate heartburn. I am interested in NOT HAVING heartburn.

I have started taking enzymes to help with the increased amount of protein and that seems to make a difference.

Re' "too alkaline"-- the Naturopath determined that from one of those special health computers in my first visit. Since then I have read that being "too alkaline" is a characteristic of fast oxidizers. I have no idea what "too alkaline" refers to because in my case, it certainly is NOT saliva or urine, and I have not returned to that Naturopath to find out.
