Re: Fecal Body Odor and Hot Feeling
Hi 79981,
It sounds like you really researched LI well. When both my sons were tested for lactose intolerance, only my younger one showed to be very intolerant. The gastroenterologist explained to me that this intolerance has to do with the absence of a digestive enzyme called lactase that is normally secreted in the stomach to digest lactose (the major
Sugar found in milk). Whenever any other doctor asks him if he has any
food allergies , he tells them that he is lactose intolerant, and that it is totally controlled with Lactaid and a low lactose diet. We never thought that there was a difference between LI and allergies to dairy, but maybe there is.
You are absolutely right in that LI does tend to produce diarrhea, whereas you were complaining of constipation. The article I referred you to said to make sure you consult with your doctor to see if there could be other causes of your symptoms, including IBS. However, I do believe that the burning sensation comes from acidic stool, based on what the pediatrician told me.
I do believe that you probably do have a lot of toxins accumulated in your intestines that are absorbed into your bloodstream because you are constipated, so I would bet that a good cleansing should help. However, I’m glad that you are considering going to see a gastroenterologist to get a real diagnosis so that you can use a targeted protocol to help you solve your problem.
