I drink Kombucha tea, which is recommended by Sally Fallon, author of Nourishing Traditions. I've also tried the Nourishing traditions fermented grape juice, lemon/lime punch and ginger "ale". They are fine, but time consuming to make. I think I might make the grape juice ferment again, it was pretty yummy. (my kids probably would love it). I have not tried keifer or rejuvelac, although I have a definate interest in rejuvelac. Everything right now is too time consuming because of other committments, but at least I drink kombucha. I don't like sauerkraut. But, I am going to try homemade yogurt soon.
I am definately not looking at EM as a cure all, or one cheap alternative that will give me ultimate health. I am shelling out a lot of money for probiotics and I need something cheap and effective. And, something that probably would help rebalance my intestinal flora and help overcome candida.
