Candida and Probiotics
Hi 68391,
Sorry I took so long to reply. I'm finally settled at home and ready to research this for you.
I researched the effects of probiotics on candida, and I found a great deal of articles supporting this, but most were written by companies selling probiotics. However, I did find an article on a clinical research report entitled Probiotics Reduced the Prevalence of Oral Candida in the Elderly - a Randomized Controlled Trial, in the Journal of Dental Research. This research study was carried out in Finland by the following researchers, K. Hatakka, A.J. Ahola, H. Yli-Knuuttila, M. Richardson, T. Poussa, J.H. Meurman, and R. Korpela

The conclusion of this study is the confirmation of the primary hypothesis, that probiotic bacteria can reduce the prevalence of oral Candida in the elderly. “Oral candidosis is common in elderly people, and under certain circumstances can contribute to disseminated candidiasis (Shay et al., 1997). Probiotics could be regularly used as a prophylactic or therapeutic means, without side-effects, of reducing Candida. Probiotics also diminished the risk of hyposalivation and the feeling of dry mouth, and can therefore be considered beneficial to oral health in general.”
Under http://www.healingdaily.com/detoxification-diet/probiotics.htm , the healingdaily.com Newsletter gives a good explanation of the healing properties of probiotics.
I assume that you believe that the source of whatever body odor you might have is candidiasis (fungal infection) which may develop as oral thrush, vaginal yeast infections, athlete’s foot, and other places as well. Before making such determinations, I recommend that you consult with your doctor to verify that indeed this is the type of infection you have. I might be mistaken, but I’m under the impression that bacterial infections produce a more volatile odor than fungal infections, although candidiasis may also produce odor. In either case, based on the online literature I found, probiotics does seem to help manage these conditions.
Regarding the magnesium and zinc dosage, I really don't know, sorry.
Hope this helps you.
