Though in a sense the comment below is true; having used Black Salve topically and Bloodroot orally (systemically) over the last 6 months now, I will say that among other things it has improved my digestive function to a level it has not been on in decades.

In the old herbals Bloodroot is listed as a bloodcleanser and I will testify that it has radically purged something from my system and lifted me to a new level of health and function. I think too many folks use it short-term as they would other herbs or drugs and are put off by the early stage discomforts. The middle and later stages of its use carry far fewer discomforts than that abysmal first stage.

For maximal effectiveness the use of Black Salve/Bloodroot needs to be a long-term committment.
