Retirement age and retirement

Is anyone looking at their retirement age getting closer and seeing retirement as an option.... Companies now days aren't even offering retirement packages... I see the cost of living in NY state going haywire... More taxes,, highest gasoline prices, which means of course food is steadily increasing, thank god I'm not on medication, just couldn't afford to take them....

I'm approaching 60 in the next couple of months and geez 60 is still OLD to me... Just don't get it, I'm getting old, I still like loud rock and roll, like my beer (in moderation) and the "other stuff" also in moderation....

Last nite I went to lunch (midnight) and on Friday the Diner (only thing open close) and there were a couple women sitting across from me about my age and they spend an entire 15 minutes complaining that the music (karoke, thank god no one was singing. I hate it when I have to listen to good music mixed with terrible singing) was too loud, they compained to the waiter, the manager and sat there pouting....

So, my nasty little disposition I asked the Karoke leader do you have any "Southern Rock like Skynard and George Thorogood and he said yes what do you want to hear... and I said "either" loud and danceable..... (The Devil made me do it)

So, the next hour and a half I got loud, dancing music... Those "old" women left in a huff about a half hour into it.... and I sat there enjoying the music, bouncing in my seat (I was hungry of course) and wondering, when do you cross over the the line and become old... Guess for the time being I am not old...
