in the dr's opinion, does this sound like candida or not?

I know candida is a hard thing to detect, and it is a controversial diagnosis; even my naturopathic doctor is suspicious of it as a fad diagnosis. Nevertheless, I have read Dr Truss's Missing Diagnosis and it does make me wonder...

Me: male, 36yrs

My symptoms:
white-coated tongue
16 years of chronic seborrheic dermatitis around the nose
scalp sores
occasional adult acne and generally oily complexion
thin hair
finger and toenails with intensive vertical ridging
loose stool and diarrhea
general anxiety/nervousness
mild depression

My history:
At 19 I had my wisdom teeth removed, given codeine. After that I developed a strange rash on my neck that wouldn't go away (after months). I went to my GP, prescribed cortisone cream. Did nothing. Sent to dermatologist. Prescribed more cream and tetracycline for mild acne. Went on antibiotics for perhaps 4 months. Acne abated but developed seborrheic dermatitis. Currently not a problem, but was a constant feature for 16 years. Prescribed years worth of cortisone. Did little. Self treated with nizoral or selenium sulfide shampoo. Also went through athlete's foot briefly, a yeast growth in the throat that caused a sore throat, various rashes, occasionally coughing up white foul-tasting curd but all of these have long since abated.
At 34, developed full face of dermatitis. Two weeks later I developed a nasty folliculitis in the beard area. Staph cultured. 10 days keflex x2 did nothing. 2 months minocycline did nothing. Started washing the area with selenium sulfide shampoo, which I still use to keep it under control. Dermatologist said it could be a "mixed" infection. Six months after antibiotics began to have anxiety attacks, fearfulness, etc. These days I experience loose stool with undigested food and supplements in it, seborrheic dermatitis, folliculitis, and scalp sores. Also, mild sinusitis. I always have to clear my nose first thing in the morning only of green-yellow goo.

When I was in my teens I was an artist working on national contracts, going to college night courses at 15, working part-time, doing tons of extra-curricular activity, won every scholarship I applied for and still managed to graduate with honours. Started art college at 17. Excelled, won more scholarships. Then, second year started the antibiotic therapy. Third year I was belligerent to my instructors and got kicked out of college for a semester. Managed to do some university work, finished college, then that was it. Managed to do odd jobs, occasional grant, but mostly lethargic, apathetic, nervous, etc. Not nearly living up to my early potential. Often wondered what changed...

In the last year, at the onset of anxiety and panic I decided to explore my health more fully. Went to a naturopath for a battery of bloodwork and urine tests. Most things normal, save for moderate levels of indican in urine, high cholesterol, no food allergies on my ELISA test, abnormally low results on my plasma amino acid test.
Right now I am awaiting the results of CDSA to see what is going on in the stool.

What should I be looking for in the results? I know everyone carries candida. What constitutes an abnormal result? And, does this sound like it is candida-related to begin with? Are there other areas I should look or things I should be doing?

I know this is long but I want to be thorough. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

PS - I forgot to mention I notice certain foods make my dermatitis worse: aged cheeses, cottage cheese, peanut butter. As for sugar, I don't eat much, but I do like beer a fair bit!
