I must have had low zinc as well, because when I upped my dose I had a massive candida die off. You can do a search for zinc therapy or zinc and candida and lots of info comes up. I would recommend finding a good nutritionist who can help you balance out our minerals and whatnot. I'm looking into that myself at the moment. I'm pretty sure I've had high copper/low zinc for long time which has led to my candida and accumulation of other heavy metals (high lead and mercury). Not sure where you are, but there is a great nutritionist I found in New York who specializes in candida and mineral imbalances. He may do phone consultations--not sure. Biamonte is his name--in NYC. I'm planning to see him in conjunction with my chelation therapy and acupuncture. Then spend the rest of my life (healthy) and paying all this off!
