Muslims don't want to face the truth that Mohammed, in contrast to the spiritual core of every other faith, did kill people and lots of them in cruel and barbaric fashion. The three jewish tribes of Arabia found that out, especially the Banu Qurayza tribe who saw 600-900 of their men beheaded, and then the remaining women and children divided up as slaves. the assassinations of Asma bint Marwan and Abu Akaf, the attack to obtain loot and women on the inoffensive Jewish farmers of the Khaybar Oasis, the deceit of the "treaty" made with the Meccans at Hudaibiyya in 628 A.D., and so much more.

What about all that?

Islam has not been seriously ideologically challenged throughout its history by modern viewpoints, as opposed to many other religions and it is this lack of refinement that causes the problems. - it is emphatically NOT 'our' intolerance that creates this issue!

Islam declares that unbelievers are the enemies of Allah. If we do not learn the political doctrine of Islam we will end up just like the first victims of Islam—the tolerant, polytheist Arabs of Saudi Arabia who became the Wahabbis (a very strict branch of Islam) of today, the most intolerant culture on the face of the earth.

I have yet to find another world religion that gives so many scriptural instructions of hate and subjugation towards other creeds. As far as I know, Islam is the only religion that forbids its adherents to offer so much as a funeral prayer for non-Muslims. Let the Qur’an speak for itself: “Nor do thou ever pray for any of them that dies, Nor stand at his grave, for they rejected Allah and His Apostle, and died in a state of perverse rebellion” (9:54).
