Wow Tim, I can't beleive that small mole produced such a large area to be treated! Was it diagnosed by a physician as cancerous before you treated it? It did heal up nicely.

Regarding my situation, I was applying more Peroxide earlier today and noticed the eschar was becoming very loose and the edges were becoming separated, almost hanging off ( similar to a stem or stalk) ... and then tonight as I was cleansing it again, it became dislodged and came off on the cotton ball! I can't believe it came off already... but I also can't believe I don't have a deep gaping hole!

I'm soooo relieved. I have about four little pits surrounding the mole site itself and one larger area where the mole was but it's no where near as bad as I thought it would be at this point. Of course, it's still very red and inflamed but the 'crater' itself is relatively shallow and the best news of all is that my nose hasn't fallen off ( like in the pics! lol)... I think I may be able to sleep tonight. It has been a lonngggg week. I still have two other sites that have brown/black eschars on them but they aren't loose at all, maybe the reaction I had to the one near my nose happened because I used more or left it on longer than the others? I'll wait to see what happens with those.

I'm pretty confident that this scar will heal up nicely although it will take some getting used to... maybe it was skin cancer and I just didn't know it?
