I find whole milk powder is another thing you can use to get nasties out of fabric. I make a milk bath for stuff in the washing machine and let the clothes soak for several hours in it before rinsing and spinning. I usually then put the items through a regular wash cycle using a plant-based washing powder. So far I've found it works best on perfume. It worked just okay on solvents. Tweet
