Re: Thoughts On Cortisol

i assure you that how it works. The lips can't heal when they are chronically inflammed. Doctors just give us something anti-inflammatory which happens to be cortisol in a synthetic form, a corticoisteroid like hydrocortisone. It will take away the inflammation but its starts the side effect of growing skin lol.

You ever notice the skin grows back faster and the pain goes away when using a hydrocortisone cream?.. its a great treatment to rid yourself of the pain/blood(acute inflammation).. but you need acute inflammation for anything to heal. Thats why your lips cant heal using a cream like hydrocortisone and the skin keeps growing fast. You may think underneath it is "healthy skin", when infact the skin has grown back so fast underneath... and the cycle continues.
