I wrote them back asking if they had done any of their own independent studies re colonization and this is what they said in reply:
Here at ET, we test to confirm that the bugs are alive AND we also test that they survive gastric conditions. This is important because we are finding that the vast majority of products are not sufficiently protected from stomach acidity. The actual colonization test (testing fecal samples to confirm growth of probiotics) was done by the manufacturer. They are looking to publish this paper at some point in the future. We can not do this test frequently for cost prohibitive reasons, but the data clearly demonstrate that True Delivery Technology releases probiotics in the intestine and colonization occurs.
