Just a reminder here, my studies {microscopic} show that the "white" on the tongue, are epithelial cells and by-products from those cells degranulating. In other words, the most basic function of your protective immunity is "turned on" because something is trying to attach to tissues somewhere in the upper gut, or stomach infection or liver issues are involved.

If little clear patches are seen, there are likely eosinophils present, which is indication of parasitic infection. parasites a are normal part of life, but sometimes aggressive ones can be problematic, or if population increases happen, immunity will be activated--allergies, skin rashes, diarrhea or constipation, headaches, fever, loss of energy, insomnia, the list goes on.
