I'm reading this forum as I'm very toxic, and just starting on iodine. However, I do have experience with knees. You might try getting a chropractic adjutment, usually if it's structural it's because your hips are out of alignment, and your stride (the way that you walk) may also be contributing.
I just did streching exercizes, but managed to pop my hip back into alignment, I could feel the change in postion, and my knee issues are rapidly going away.
