Re: The Decline and Fall of Curezone
Think of CureZone as a microcosm of the world at large. We each have our own concept of what is right and wrong, but if you believe strongly in what is right- don't walk out and abandon it because you see part of it as wrong!
CureZone has for the most part been a Godsend for me - a forum where I can learn as well as share without fear of being banned for non mainstream ideas and information about healing. Even moreso, a place to help others and genuinely make a difference. And a place to take a stand against the powers that be that would control our lives and our health.
And I have made some very special friends here too - friends for life I believe, and I hope to make more.
Now, before I get too sappy, I will say that it hasn't ALL been a bed of roses and I did have to make a stand, go toe to toe and set some limits regarding trolls and personal attacks. As a result, I believe that it is obvious that some people are here, often in multiple guises, who have personal agendas that have nothing to do with healing or educating instead of medicating, and if it were left up to me I would banish the trolls, troublemakers who resort to personal attack and multiple ID rules breakers or, better still, put their comments on moderated status.
Then again, perhaps my good friend Trapper, one of those special new friends I am talking about, is at least partiallly right when he says part of the value of CureZone is the same lack controls we sometimes bemoan.
I had rather think about the good CureZone has done and can continue to do and keep fighting towards that end than to abandon such a noble effort, however flawed or not, to those I disagree with.
Just my two cents.

PS - If Zoebess is who you are talking about, I think you have erred badly. She is another of the special ones I have met here.
