I wouldn't do all that work on her teeth either (unless it was causing her some pain). Get a second opinion.

In the meantime, there are natural things you can do for teeth that really work well:

Toothpaste with Xylitol. The brand I use is called "Spry" but there are other brands. I buy it from my local health food store and also on-line. Xylitol is a natural Sugar that keeps bacteria from being able to take hold of a tooth. Xylitol also remineralizes teeth. Here's a link about xylitol:

Soladey Ionic Toothbrush. It uses some type of ionic action to keep the teeth clean. You can check it out at

As far as foods go, try to feed you daughter a diet high in vegetables and whole grains. Make sure she drinks plenty of water too.
