Thanks for drilling down into the species you identify the worm, shroom...Knowledge might not cure parasites, but helps to understand, plan a cure and prevent reinfection.
BTW, In which picture# and in which part of it do you think it might be a hookworm?
I would like to see it in order to be able to be aware of it and identify it if it is there in future analysis of my feces.

It could be I got it from fish, but I have eaten quite a lot of meet in the past as well, so it could as well come from there, or from water from doubtful sources, or from animal/soil contact...well, I have to assume I need to address preiodically this issue of parasites, and enjoy while it last!

It is a good point about the deformation of worms when they show up, I need to keep it in mind in the future. BTW, the immune system attacts you refer (mucus covering), could you please explain me or send me a link to read a bit more about this topic. It is of interest to me, so I would like to learn a bit more about this mechanism.
