Re: Vitamin C

Hello golthing,
I don't really think that your comment "that eating LESS is far more important that WHAT you eat" which really flies in the face of the nutrition we actually need. Try eating LESS with an exclusive McDonalds diet for example!! The film "Super Size Me" put that to one to rest I think.

It is true to say that eating less is much healthier than eating more to a degree, but as long as we feed the body what it needs biologically, then we will remain in good health. A Raw-food organic and plant based diet fits this purpose; however, a low calorie diet has been shown to achieve much greater longevity, which fits the description of the previously named diet perfectly.

A reduced intake of food will be easier to handle by the body, but when that food intake is of a high quality AND combined correctly, an increased intake of food is handled just as easily. Weight gain for example, is easily caused by mixing predominantly protein foods and starch foods at the same meal; if this were to be avoided, then weight is lost, rather than gained, because of the avoidance of putrefaction and fermentation. Toxins are also kept to an absolute minimum.

Regards

Chrisb1.
