The Paleo Diet is one of many books on the subject, and not the first. The grandfather of the subject -- so far as I can tell -- is Boyd Eaton. Is Loren Cordain using his work to sound intelligent? The year before the Paleo diet came out there was the Origin Diet, by Elizabeth Somer, who writes along a similar theme but with a slightly different message.

The Human Diet, Neanderthin, Ten Thousand Years from Eden, Dangerous Grains, and my personal favorite so far, Why We Get Sick, all lean on evolutionary history to get this message out: Live as you were designed and you will get to live as you were designed.

Even before Boyd Eaton, the late T.F. Dreyer (a South African zoologist and archaeologies) theorized that the mass extinction of the large animals of the world, Mammoths, giant ground sloths etc.) Were hunted into extinction. This was when people still though the “ice age” did it…

Loren Cordain, as excellent as the book is, was not the first and will not be the last to write on the subject.

Have you written a book, or do you just flame and blast people in order to appear as though you have some knowledge or insight that they do not possess.
