How true. And think how many things we tend to take on face value healthwise, and just do them "because" without needing to know the mechanics behind it all. But, being someone who loves to know the "why" myself, I totally understand this desire to know. I have always known that the researcher in me has hampered my progress in many ways. But, OTOH, it has helped my progress in many ways too, in that I am always seeking, seeking, seeking, trying, evaluating, seeking some more, etc.. I have a deep desire to "figure it all out", though, which I can see can get in the way.
