Moreless, hello,
in all sincerity, I keep seeing people discussing the calcium hydroxide as if it is ground rock -- to all appearances good, thinking people seriously lamenting that one who'd consider taking this "limestone" must be a complete fool, or is being duped. I am not referring to those who seem to repeatedly want to engage in highly chemistry-based discussions which I confess go over my head, rather, the less science-minded, perhaps less linear-thinking among us curezoners, though no less able to intuit, reason and give thoughtful consideration to new ideas.
In regard to the C.H. My own thinking runs like this:
if it *were* as simple and straightforward as being indeed 'ground rock' it would be no better than the widespread (mis)use of mineral supplements that feature a bunch of bio-unavailable ingredients of the cheapest basest sort, bound together with fillers and waxes etc. and called by some commonly advertised names, that I won't mention here. Supplements that do little more than burden the body's systems, and at worst, are downright harmful, in spite of their being generally considered (by many) to be safe.

I am not someone with a big desire to consume something that would only possibly build up in my system, taxing the excretory functions, and/or being deposited in joints etc.-- These effects are what I hope to actively avoid, and are at the basis of my efforts to simplify my diet, and get my *whole* life to the point that I do not "live to eat" (or take in anything 'foodwise', whether vegetable, fruit, herb or subtle 'essence': eg. homeopathics, flower essences,).I intend to "eat to live"
in the sense of putting less emphasis on all that, and making it all of the best possible quality.( while not getting insane about it)
I want to get on with the spiritual, which is the core of life, in my view! And just plain life *after* intense 'ph balancing'. But I acknowledge there is a time to engage in some intense practice for a time...and I have been inspired by many of the ideas put forth here.
And I should add at this point, for other readers, that I have not received my C.H. yet, so haven't actually seen/'read' it -- but, if I was to get a very strong negative response after testing it (via applied kinesiology, which I've used for several years) I'd pull back, and rethink it.
Here's where I'm at now: I have a good (intuitive) sense of its (positive) action, and its *safety*, while this has taken me some ruminating and consideration, and a little 'faith', insofar as I have never actually grasped the whole picture of the C.H in either its *makeup* or synergy with the other ingredients in the alkalizing drink + protocol.
However, I now view the C.H. as being not *powdered rock* but rather 'slaked'; and it might sound naive, but this "slaking" to me implies a bioavailability: a change from the harsh (stone) to the alchemical, almost.
I don't understand all the ins and outs of the process that changes limestone to slaked lime--->>> and then takes it further,-->>>>> to become 'lime water', that *then* is diluted much further,--->>> but my intuition tells me there is much occurring between the stone and the actual liquid that is then 'activated' and transformed in synergy with the lemon and the blackstrap molasses.
(not to discount the other important variables, such as density of nutrients in fruits and vegetables...)
so -- that's the way I see it, but it pains me somewhat and frustrates me a little, to feel that there isn't -that I've seen- on this forum YET, a post by you that very patiently and with great care tries to address the what and how, in one succinct go.
If you would be so kind as to take the opportunity, in this thread, to discuss briefly, how it is that limestone becomes Calcium hydroxide, (an utterly different
and safe 'creature', we are told!) and perhaps to try to find another way to say it than you have in past posts, (though I appreciate you tire of feeling harassed) it would, I feel, go a long way to accomplishing that which you wish to -- and that is, (I believe!) to be a generous extender of all the good that experience -and the teachings of others you've respected- has afforded you.
My aim with this post is wholly to contribute to making THIS application of C.H. more understandable to more people, and to ending some of the feelings of alienation and the 'cloud of unknowing' surrounding it.
Thanks to all who've persisted through this post, which will no doubt be a little long-winded. I tend to get that way when I feel passionately about cutting through any misapprehensions and communications gone awry.

First of all, it may help you to first come to understand, that when one may consider that many people will call Black --White and White --Black, just because this may be the way some people may be!
It does not change the "FACTS" that Black is Black and "NOT" White, but some people will argue any point they may want to!
This is no different with Calcium hydroxide!
But, the Biggest problem we may be facing with the idea about using calcium hydroxide, may be that "IF" you would follow the Money trail, you may find out why some people want to argue against it so much!
For it is "SO" cheap in cost, and this cuts into the profits of those who want to sell other products which they may be making a good profit on, but when people learn they do not need to spend a lot of their hard earned Cash, to get some Calcium which may work Excellent when used as I have suggested, then these people who may lose in their profits may scream the loudest that it isn't good etc or any kind of arguement against the use of the Calcium hydroxide!
And then you have the other people who are just going to argue for the sake of argueing and some of these may have had some formal education in chemistry and so they "THINK" they are someone and know something and are going to argue about it, just because "IF" they didn't, then they may have to admit to themself that they really do not know as much as they thought they knew about the subject!
So, this problem has to do with a problem of Pride!
And then we have those people such as you who go around in circles, always wanting to know all the answers about everything, yet you are not able to understand everything, because you have not the Basis with which to be able to understand everything about it, yet you put off trying some of these ideas for some excuse or another, that you just want some more answers!
Now, many people as yourself, who have inherited certain Dominate Gland types, this is just a fact of life which you may have to learn to deal with and overcome, because your genetics are such that this way of thinking of going in circles and wanting to know all of the answers, is just the way of life for certain people with your genetics!
This is nothing to feel bad about, but when you may realize that this is a problem which people of your genetics must face, then you may make an extra effort to work on overcoming this short fall which may be bothering you!
It is nothing to be ashamed of, for we all have problems which we must learn to deal with!
I am just pointing it out , because it is a real problem for some people, and "IF" a person is able to consider that because of their genetics, that their genetics may cause some people to think in certain ways an may prove to limit what you may do in life, unless you may learn this may be a problem for you, and then when you recognize this may be a problem for you to deal with, then you may do something about it!
But when a person does not know they may have this problem, which may be effecting the way they may make or not be able to make choices in Life, then this may be a real hinderance to that person!
So, my comments thus far for you are "NOT" ment to be a put down for you, but rather to provide you with some more insight about how the mind of certain people may work who have a specific genetic type which they may have to learn to live with !
And once you are able to recognize this, then you may be in a better position to help yourself to solve some of the problems which you may be dealing with!
I, Hope you understand I mean this in a positive way for you to consider!
Now to the subject about Calcium Hydroxide, which you were asking about!
The problem which everyone who is trying to provide Scientific proof for their reason against the use of Calcium Hydroxide may lay in that they do "NOT" understand about Electro-magnetic Energy and how it works!
And I do not know that I could explain it in a way so that you or they may understand it with your or their Education or lack of Education on the subject!
Electro-magnetic Energy is a Field in and unto it's self!
And then when you combine Electro-magnetic Energy into reactions with Bio-organic Chemistry, vs the normal chemistry which most people study, you then have another whole Mysterious field of study which may not be understood by , but by a "VERY FEW" people in the whole world, if this many even exist!
For I do not understand much in the field myself!
The more I learn about it all, the more I realize I do not understand about it!
So, what I have found is that it is Best to learn what works to solve all problems time and again, and not be so concerned about all of the scientific reasons for it being so!
Now back to the subject which you asked about!
The Lime water by it's self taken into the body without and Complexed Carbohydrates may react as some want to claim it to be as just ground up rocks, this they may be correct in this kind of thinking!
But when you take the Lime water as I have suggested, so that you are providing your body with some extra Complexed Carbohydrates in the form of the Blackstrap Molasses, so as to provide a "BUFFER" for the reactions which may take place as Electro-magnetic Energy which may be Released, then this changes the whole condition of the reaction in the body!
Now we have a condition in the body whereas the body is able to utilize this form of Calcium as an Electro-magnetic Energy in a Complexed Carbohydrate form and this changes the whole Ball Game!
We are now talking about Electro-magnetic Energy in an Bio-organic Chemistry setting, and not in the Normal school of thought of just inorganic chemistry which most people may have some understanding of!
And even those few who may have had some education in the Bio-organic Chemistry fields, may still be Lacking in understanding, because they may Lack in the fields of understanding when it comes to Electro-magnetic Energy in combination with the Bio-organic chemistry!
I am not here to teach you all about these different fields of chemistry and Electro-magnetic fields etc, but just to share with you what I have found what works and what does not work!
It is your choice to make your own choices or be unable to make your own choices because of peer pressure of those some who proclaim it just can not work because of all their numbers etc which they may try to provide as their proof!
My case still rest, those who want to try these ideas to see if it may help them, this is their choice!
And the rest of the people who just want to think about it, this is also their choice!
But , guess what, it may not do you any good sitting in the bottle on the shelf, and you may still not be able to solve your problems, until you choose to do something to help yourself!

It would be hard not to view this, and some further statements in your reply re: genetics, as more than a little off-base, but I am trying...trying to just assume a goodwill on your part that doesn't come across very well (in this post). Maybe you are confusing me with others who are 'against' you-- it is true I've asked a few times for some elaboration, that I now see you've interpreted as being nothing but negative, as somehow indicative of my lacking...
It's mystifying to me, because I'm glad to have begun to see the value of what you've been sharing! And I wish to be able to share it with others.

Thanks for the parts of your reponse that do address the genuine question I put forth, not so much for myself -I believe ( or I thought) I was careful to state my support of these principles and protocols, and even my vague 'grasp' of the mechanics, which does not, it turns out, seem to come down to that much beneath yours! ( or maybe it's just hard for you to talk to me) And I mean that in kindness.

and how one, (or I) oughtn't to feel ashamed of it, you might actually mean,
non-linear, in function and makeup--
which is a bit of a different thing, than this image of a dog chasing its tail.
I am not in any way "ashamed" of being non-linear.
(Sorry, can't think of the word right now, ironically, as a stone-mason across the way has for the last hour, if you can believe this(!!) been sawing stone with a chainsaw. He's making a nice ramp for wheelchairs.)

Just so you may understand me better on this subject about this genetic problem which some people may have!
This was one of my problems as I was growing up, and I did not know I had this problem, until it was pointed out to me, and then when I was able to understand how this problem needed to be worked on and overcome, in order for me to move on with life and accomplish the things in life which I wanted to accomplish, then I was able to have a great many sucesses by then being able to control one of my short commings which I was born with!
For you see, when we do not know we have a problem, how are we to solve the problem "IF" we do not know we have a problem!
And "IF" this problem may be causing us to be unable to solve other problems, then we may need to learn about this problem and solve it first, so that we may go on with life and solve our other problems!
For me it was a real problem, because I was in the business as a problems solver, and until I was able to solve this problem, this problem prevented me from solving many other problems!
But when I was able to understand I had this problem and was willing to face it head on and deal with it , then I was able to go on with Life and solve many other problems!

You may not have this problem as some who have posted on here, but I can tell from your questions that you have a Genetic type which follows this pattern!
I hope you may look at this from a positive view point and not a Negative view point!

There is nothing wrong with this, you are a mature person, so do not let my way of posting bother you in the wrong way!

This is a reply to # 115,219alright, I'll allow it takes me some time to make choices sometimes...and you've seen a very public display of that process re: the ph stuff, but to quote John Fowles: "I work slow, but sift small".
That same quality allows me to look very deeply, which is good for meditation, which is good for realization, which will one day take care of all such littlenesses as
genetics, and my non-linear problems.

This is a reply to # 115,214I think I may have some of those personality traits as you suggest, from the way I was raised among other things; maybe genetics :-).
Over my lifetime I have had to consciously and constantly remind myself to 1. Be able and willing to unlearn what I have learned if it no longer works or is true, and 2. Understand that I do not have to understand everything (micromanagement/understanding of everything will drive one nuts); if it works, it works, the knowing of any one thing can take a lifetime I may not be willing to invest due to other obligations or interests.
These two things (among many others) have helped me a great deal over the years...

This is a reply to # 115,223How true. And think how many things we tend to take on face value healthwise, and just do them "because" without needing to know the mechanics behind it all. But, being someone who loves to know the "why" myself, I totally understand this desire to know. I have always known that the researcher in me has hampered my progress in many ways. But, OTOH, it has helped my progress in many ways too, in that I am always seeking, seeking, seeking, trying, evaluating, seeking some more, etc.. I have a deep desire to "figure it all out", though, which I can see can get in the way.

I think that many here on curezone, myself included fit this statement, even more so because of the reason we are here... sick, we turned to conventional medicine and GRS food and their food additives while being sold a bill of goods and promises that failed on their promises time and time again, while we continued to get even sicker. Having lived through that, it becomes very difficult to trust things at face value. I think that is one of the reasons why we dig incessantly, and want or even demand answers and\or proof, genetic\peer influential factors aside.

This is a reply to # 115,236You do bring up some interesting points... dependent upon constitution, background, diet etc. we may be plus or minus in any one or many minerals causing an imbalance. This means that we all must find what works for ourselves, on our own, unless we are fortunate enough to have the tools and understand how to monitor.
I would be willing to bet that we would all eventually be able to "tune" into our bodies in order to recognize our needs, and then chose foods that would fill them, if we worked hard enough to listen to and understand our own unique body response to certain\any foods.
What has moved us away from being able to naturally recognize negative\positive physical responses to foods, is all the external distractions AND the OTCs sold and marketed to deal with, what would be a normal body response (digestive, and\or elimination issues) to something we should not have eaten in the first place.

This is a reply to # 115,244I avoid the TV, and radio, but do read news headlines online... I try to stay away from full stories, if I do read something (mostly science or medical related articles only) in the paper or a magazine, I usually read the first one or two paragraphs and the last, this is where who, what, when, where, why is usually included without all of the reporting bias and speculations/opinions. If I read a political piece, I try to balance it out with an article on the same subject from papers in a country that may have an apposing view.

This is a reply to # 115,236I wonder how long it will take to reverse a calcium deficiency. I used to take magnesium (alot!) to help with insomnia and have now discovered that the calcium is the true answer when it comes to my sleep and relaxation. If I take too much lime water though I am so relaxed that I can care less about many important things that I should be keeping focused on. Does this happen to you at all with the lime water?

The impetus for my posting this initial post was NOT to satisfy myself (chasing some chemistry lesson) on why *I* should try this--since the proof is certainly in the trying, once one has determined the signs are good to go...
and I have.
My motivation on this occasion (since, as I said, I've made up my mind, and ordered the C.H. and am waiting with bated breath)was to possibly prompt the kind of post that would then be perfect for the Faq and the site that Invincible is working on, so that others might benefit from its clearly addressing those who might be sitting on the fence. Rocking. Leaning forward.

Is there any difference in Cold Fusion at the atomic scale vs Cold Fusion at the sub-atomic scale?
What I am refering to may be related to the body being of an Acid nature because of the ratios of Acids to Alkaline Minerals, yet because of the protein factor which may be involved, and the different isotopes of nitrogen which make up the Protein which may be involved, that by the Simple change in Temperature, you may cause the body to totally become Acidic or Alkaline, depending on how well you understand Hydro-therapy, by not even changing the basic Acid to Alkaline ratios that may exist!
And then you may actually take an Acid and cause an Alkaline End reaction to come to exist in the body!
Not everything is as it may seem to be at first Glance!
And without a whole lot of understanding of some of these Basics, it may be almost "IMPOSSIBLE" to explain to most people!
So, it is not my intention to get into explaining all of the Details as such, but just to share what may work when used in different ways!
And "IF" a person wants to help themself, then it may be their choice to try some of these ideas to see "IF" they may Help you!
For these ideas may do you "NO" good "IF" you do not try them, and if you may choose to just go around in circles asking to know everything about how it all works and not be willing to take planned action!
For even I do "NOT" understand every bit about how it "ALL" works, but just enough to know it works and solves most Health problems, "IF" you may choose to take Planned Action to do something to help Yourself!
