I do that already,(take the drink without them) and I think its a great drink.
First of all I cannot find CH here in thailand. I have bought epsom salts but i take a mag supplement and I also take coral calcium sumpplements.

I think that moreless mentioned that these ingredients were used partially (or completely) because they were very cost effiecient.

and you are completely correct--people should use whatever variations they are comfortable with and i am sure they do.
